Small Groups

We take groups of six to 14 people -- small enough to feel like you’re exploring a destination independently, but big enough to create a good social vibe -- on 'intimate' tours of Morocco. Average group size is about 12, but can vary depending on where and how we are traveling. We ride 6 or 7 guests to a vehicle, which we have found is a nice number to let you connect with other people on the tour. Traveling in small groups can also save a lot of time, which means we have more time for exploring.

Sunscreen

Skin cancer is for real...don’t forget your sunscreen! We recommend ordering some online before leaving for your trip. Even though you can buy sunscreen in Morocco, we recommend ordering some before you leave to make sure to have what you need for the tour. We recommend getting an eco friendly sun cream that does not contain harmful chemicals. They’re mineral-based and usually only cost a few dollars more to help protect the environment.

Hiking Shoes or Boots

A good pair of shoes or hiking boots -- preferably a pair you have already broken in -- will make your tour more enjoyable. While you may want to purchase locally made shoes or sandals while in Morocco, a quality pair of hiking shoes will be hard to come by and you don't want to get blisters while walking around in a newly-purchased pair of shoes. If you plan to walk around a lot get thick rubber soled shoes [as acacia thorns are prone to stab through thin shoes. Cameron learned the hard way one day when he pulled a thorn out of his foot that went straight through his thin rubber sandals].

Hiking Pants

Lightweight pants made from synthetic material are tremendous to have in your pack. It’s what we wear most days when traveling around Morocco as they’re comfortable.
